The challenge

Events were published as blog posts rather than in their own section, staff profiles weren't linked to their publications or news, and during launch week comment spam pushed the site past its monthly hosting bandwidth.

What we did

Rebuilt on Divi with page-by-page content restructuring.

Integrated the Zotero publication library into a redesigned Resources section.

Implemented The Events Calendar (migrating legacy event blog posts) with save-to-calendar features.

Built bi-directional linking between staff profiles, news, and academic publications.

Applied DarkWatch Shield, a custom login URL and 2FA, and disabled comments site-wide to stop spam.

Delivered a 2-year quarterly maintenance plan, Maintenance Care Reports, and a staff training guide.

The outcome

A rebuilt Divi site with the Zotero publication library and a dedicated events calendar, secured with DarkWatch Shield and 2FA, and looked after on an ongoing maintenance plan.
